What is The Little Prince?

The Little Prince is a novel published by French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery in 1943, and is a masterpiece loved all over the world. Although the book looks like a fairy tale on the outside, it contains deep insights into life, love, human relationships, and the world of adults.

 

 Main plot

 

 A pilot crash-lands in the desert and meets a mysterious boy named 'The Little Prince'.

The Little Prince is a being from a small planet (B-612) where he lived, and has lived on the planet by taking care of roses and pulling out baobabs.

The Little Prince travels to various stars and meets various adults, and through each character, he critically looks at the vanity, authority, and greed of adults.

Upon arriving on Earth, the Little Prince realizes that the rose is a special being all its own, and meets a fox who teaches him that "what is essential is invisible to the eye"
